Library News 3 CROCHET NIGHT Join us for an evening of crocheting, chatting, and snacks! Take your current work in progress or something new to start. This is not an instructional program so a basic knowledge of crochet is required. It’s free and supplies will be provided. COLORING NIGHTS Color your cares away at the library. You're invited to the library to color pages that are designed for adults. Supplies will be provided. All ages are welcome to attend. Registration is required. The Haunting of Main Library Step into a world where books come alive and ghosts whisper tales of the past! Join us for a spine-chilling Haunted Library event filled with ghoulish delights for all ages. Children can unleash their creativity with eerie crafts and cupcake decorating, while teens can craft their own haunted miniatures. Get cozy with a Halloween movie screening, or delve into the mysterious art of cryptid mug painting. Don't miss out on this specter-tacular celebration at your local library! October 19 at Main Library Monsters of Ohio 11 a.m. JC Raphael, author of Monsters of Ohio will visit the library to share stories from his book. Monsters of Ohio is a comprehensive chronicling of the creatures of cryptozoology, folklore, and urban legend that make their home in the state and the stories told about them, from infamous ones like The Lake Erie Monster, The Loveland Frogs and The Grassman to lesser-known local legends like The Crosswick Monster, The Peninsula Python and The Defiance Wolfman. Seating is first come, first served.
