Urban Homestead & Gardening, Main Library

Join us at the library for the start of a year-long series about urban homesteading.  In this first session, local authors and owners of The Sow’s Ear Farm Shawn and Beth Dougherty will go over the basics of planning and preparing your garden.  Topics will include choosing the type of bed, prepping the soil, selecting plants and finding seeds, when to plant, direct planting and starting in pots, and other information.
